ACTC Run Training with Liam Bird of Underbirdswing Coaching
Join us for the weekly sessions with Coach Liam Bird.
All abilities are welcome for these FREE run sessions but it's not a casual run club it's proper training to help improve your running!
The more consistently you turn up the better faster/stronger you will become as a runner.
There is no need to be an ACTC Member or a triathlete..
We have recently added the tempo sessions on Wednesday night's to complement the Monday night's speed sessions.
ACTC Monday Night Speed Session
Speed session at the track: short reps that require a good pace.
The more we have to this session the better as we find runners like to push (a.k.a. encourage) each other!
ACTC Wednesday Night Tempo Session
Tempo session: these will be longer reps like 1-3km repeats at paces slightly faster than half marathon pace.

From the 06th April 2026 both sessions will be at the Athletics Track at Mt Smart Stadium - see image below.
Please meet at 6.10pm with the warmup starting at 6.15pm.
Remember it's a great way to get in a training session with other clubbies and runners + it's FREE.
